PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS:

espol™ 38.00 is a specially formulated grade Vinylester resin with excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemical environments at room and elevated temperature.
It is non promoted, non-thixotropic type and formulated chemical resistant unsaturated polyester resin based on selective epoxy and meth-acrylic acid processed carefully to specific molecular weight, dissolved in Styrene monomer in the presence of specially chosen inhibitor for long storage life @ room temperature.
The VER espol™ 38.00 is resistant for wide range of chemicals/fluid for exposure & application. The resin is especially suitable for filament winding and lay up/spray up, pultrusion pipelines, chemical process equipments, like Reactors, Blowers fume extraction equipments is resistant for wide range of chemicals/fluid for exposure & application. The resin is especially suitable for process using glass fiber, pigment, fillers and other additives as per requirement. |

Chemical Resistance:-
espol™ 38.00 has high i mpact combined with good mechanical, electrical and insulating properties. The catalyst systems MEKP-Co-AMINE or Benzoyl peroxide amine /TBPB hot molding on the high pressure/temperature systems may be used with the vinyl ester resin. |

HEAT RESISTANCE :

The dry heat resistance of espol™ 38.00 resin is superior to isoohthalic resin

POST CURING:

It is recommended to mature the products for 24 hours and post curing should be done for minimum of five hours at 500C, or 2-3 weeks at room temperature. This is essential for getting the optimum properties. |

STORAGE / HANDLING:

The polyester resin remains stable for 3 months at 300C in the dark and 4 months at 250C. The resin stability deteriorates markedly at elevated temperature, especially when exposed to direct sunlight.
espol™ 38.00 has a flash point of 340C and is classified as flammable. "NO SMOKING " rules should be strictly followed. In case of spillage, use sand or earth to absorb and shovel off for disposal as per local regulations, In case of fire, use dry chemical foam, Carbon dioxide or water spray to extinguish the flame. |

HEALTH & SAFETY:

Never add metal salts (Accelerator) or Pre Acceleratorated resin to Peroxides when adding peroxides to a resin solution, mix thoroughly the resulting product Do not add organic peroxides to a hot diluents or process. Prevent contamination of Acclerator , promo0ter from materials like ( Iron Copper, Cobalt ) salts, storing acids and sanding dusts. Suggested containers are glass, polypropylene, Teflon, Poly-ethylene or stainless steel to prevent contamination of material during its handling.
