| PRECAUTIONS FOR USE |
| |
EXPOSURE STANDARDS: Isocyanates (all as - NCO)
0.02 mg / m³ TWA 0.07 mg / m³ STEL
Xylene 80ppm TWA 150ppm STEL
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Local ventilation not normally necessary but should be
considered if used in poorly ventilated or very confined spaces
alternatively a respiratory protection mask fitted with a type A1
filter and complying with AS/NZS 1716 Respiratory Devices
and used in accordance with AS/NZS 1715 which describes
use and maintenance.
PERSONAL PROTECTION: Neoprene or nitrile rubber gloves are recommended if
prolonged and extensive skin contact likely.

etc.
FLAMMABILITY: Not flammable under conditions of use in well ventilated areas.
The product will burn if exposed to direct flame. A fire will
cause the decomposition of the polyurethane causing the
production of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen
chloride and oxides of nitrogen. Under certain combustion
conditions traces of hydrogen cyanide gas may be generated.
Self contained breathing apparatus is recommended when
fighting fires involving large quantities of Sikaflex. |

allow to cure and remove mechanically. Dispose of at an
approved landfill waste disposal site when fully cured.
FIRE/EXPLOSION HAZARD: Fight fires with foam, CO² or dry chemical extinguishers. Do
not use water. Produces oxides of nitrogen and under certain
combustion conditions traces of hydrogen cyanide could be
evolved.
